We have tried to make our website as easy to navigate around, and to read as possible – it’s often referred to as making a website ‘accessible’.
Accessible websites are those that don’t exclude any users due to their abilities or methods they choose to access the web. Accessible websites use prominent colours, fonts, text, layout and navigation to ensure they are as easy to use as possible. They also cater for a range of different viewing devises and technologies.
There are several bodies that provide ‘standards’ for accessibility for organisations to adhere to. We have followed principles outlined by the Worldwide Web Consortium
